The leader of the Panorama Girls Basketball Team wants the squad to remain united throughout the season.

Head Coach Randy Miller explains that he’s been pushing the message of sticking together as a unit, which will help build the culture of the Panthers Basketball program. He notes that there will be many younger girls stepping up to play bigger roles in the varsity position, but to not lose sight of what’s really important.

“We’re just talking about staying together, having a great attitude, (and) practicing like a champion. If we want to continue to improve or continue to get to the upper level that we want to get to, that we have to practice hard and work hard every day.”

Miller outlines that the girls have responded well to the challenge and knows that they have each other’s backs. Panorama girls and boys will play their first doubleheader in Panora on Tuesday, welcoming in Woodward-Granger.
