Schools from across the state will see some of their students head to the Casey’s Event Center in Des Moines this week.

The Iowa State Dance/Drill Team Association State Competition takes place Thursday and Friday. All three school districts in Guthrie County will be sending their dance teams to compete. West Central Valley has had a great run of success the last few years, grabbing a handful of runner up and championship titles. Panorama has seen similar success as well. Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center reinstated their dance team last year, and will be looking to build on the work that those girls put into getting the team back up and running.
