The Warren Cultural Center in Greenfield is starting to get busier in the fall with a variety of shows and performances.
From last month’s chamber orchestra performance by the University of Iowa, the cultural center will host comedian Taylor Mason tomorrow.
Executive Director Ken Sidey says Mason is a previous winner of the classic television show Star Search and has since been in a variety of venues. He’s appeared on stages in Chicago and New York City and continuously does his act on Disney cruise ships.
“As a matter of fact, he is going to take a break from a Disney cruise, fly up here, do a few shows in Iowa including our’s, and then fly back down to Florida and get on another Disney cruise ship. So, that’s the level of talent that he has.”
Mason’s show features ventriloquism, music and stand-up comedy that is family-friendly entertainment. The show will be at 7pm on Saturday, October 4th.
Sidey points out that Saturday’s performance is the second of their Premier Performance Series which bring nationally touring talent to the cultural center. All tickets are $25 and can be purchased at Ed & Eva’s Store at 154 Public Square or by calling 641-743-2566.
