Adel-DeSoto-Minburn senior Eliza Schmidt is being recognized by the state of Iowa for her diving accomplishments this past season.

Schmidt was awarded with an All-State Honorable Mention by the Iowa High School Athletic Association’s State Swimming Championships. ADM partners with the Waukee School District for swimming and diving, and the group was named the Regional Team Champion back in early November. At the state meet, Schmidt finished eighth place overall with a score of 392.95, and during the 2024 season, she set the Waukee 11-dive record posting a mark of 407.65. Schmidt will be receiving her high school diploma this spring.
