Saturday there will be a Winterfest celebration in Redfield at the West Central Valley Middle School.

Organizer Heather Pote mentions that there will be a craft show, silent auction and cookie walk with over 35 vendors at the event. She mentions that the silent auction benefits local 4-H chapters, and that the West Central Valley Middle School Washington DC Trip will be offering gift wrapping services as a fundraiser for the trip as well. The event will be from 9am to 2pm, with a Kids Shop Free event from 10am to 2pm. Pote adds that there will also be a quilt show at the Redfield Christian Church from 9am to 2pm, and a chili feed from 5-7pm at the Legion Hall, followed by the lighted parade at 7pm.
