Greene County bowled on Tuesday afternoon at Perfect Game in Ames vs. the Ballard (Huxley) Bombers. This story features the Greene County boys, who won the match by a score of 2,906 pins to 2,431. Coach John Woodford’s Rams are 2-1 in dual meets and they’ll host Kuemper Catholic on Friday, Dec. 12 in Jefferson at Spare Time Lanes in 4 p.m. bowling, which also will include a girls’ dual meet. Ballard fell to 2-2.

Tuesday’s two game series leader for the Rams was junior Chase Fecher with 426 pins. Senior Teagan Chisholm rolled a 408 series, followed by 403 for junior Jacob Rumely, 388 by senior Trenton Lee, and sophomore Jared Dawson 305. Rumley rolled the highest individual game at 252 with both Chisholm and Fecher with a game of 234. Lee’s best game was 221 and Dawson topped out at 171. Ballard senior Stetson Kane had a 420 series including a high game of 230.
