With the winter season arriving early, Greene County Extension will be hosting its first of this season’s Ag Coffee programs.
Extension Director Jeff Lamoureux says the first program will take place tomorrow from 9:30-11am at the Extension Office with a unique topic that has also been in the news recently.
“We haven’t touched on this in a while, we’ve done a lot of field and grain type of classes before, and now we’re turning towards livestock, and we have Erika Woolfork, she’s an ISU Beef Specialist. She’s going to be talking about ‘Responsible Expansion of a Cowherd.’ So kind of timely right now when talking about the beef markets right now. So we’re excited to have Erika here to offer that Ag Coffee for us.”
The December Ag Coffee is sponsored by the Greene County Cattlemen’s Association, it is free for anyone to attend and refreshments will be served.
