The Greene County Sheriff’s Office recently recovered stolen items from an executed search warrant.

According to Greene County Sheriff Jack Williams, he and some deputies, along with the Jefferson and Boone Police Departments, conducted a search late Thursday night of a home in the 1200 block of Tama Street in Boone. He says the vehicle that allegedly was used in two burglaries that took place last Wednesday night in Greene County was seized, along with the stolen items such as alcohol and cigarettes. 

Last Wednesday, three individuals were caught on surveillance video, burglarizing the Casey’s General Store in Scranton and at Sparky’s One Stop gas station in Rippey. A fourth person was also seen on surveillance footage driving the getaway vehicle. 

Williams adds that the investigation is ongoing at this time and charges are pending. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
