Auditions for the next Greene County Community Theatre production is next week.

GCCT President Josh Tuel says the spring show will be “Birds of North America” by Anna Ouyang Moench, and he talks about the premise of the play.

“It’s a two-person cast. It’s about a father and a daughter and it ages over a ten year period of time. And they have those father/daughter conversations that kind of evolve and you can see them change as people and their relationship change all behind the premise of they both enjoy bird watching.”

The two person play is calling for one male between the ages of 40 and 60 and one female ages between 20 and 40. Auditions will be held this coming Monday and Tuesday from 6:30-8pm at the Masonic Lodge on the downtown square in Jefferson. If someone can’t make it to the audition, but wants to try out for the play, they can contact GCCT via their Facebook or Instagram pages prior to January 15th.

Rehearsals will start February 15th with show dates April 10th-12th.
