Perry Fine Arts will host a new musician during a concert tomorrow afternoon.
Chairperson Cathy Clark says that while Kris Karr is new to the Perry Fine Arts concert series, he has performed locally at the Courtyard Cafe.
She adds that Karr is a solo acoustic guitar player, singer and songwriter who is known for the ability to change his voice and his extended vocal range.
Clark details that his music centers around songs from the 1970s along with original pieces.
“His goal is to entertain, get you all singing and laughing together and hopefully having had a memorable and fun time and going home with a smile on your face.”
She says while the show is free to the public, free-will donations to Perry Fine Arts are accepted. The concert will take place at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Perry Performing Arts Center, 1200 18th Street.
