One of the most popular programs is coming up with the Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department.
Assistant Director Lyndsey Wathen says the Daddy-Daughter Dance is scheduled for next Friday, February 20th from 6:30-9pm at the Greene County Community Center. She talks more about what happens at this event.
“Daddy-Daughter Dance is a night of fun and dancing here at the community center. We’ve got a mobile deejay service called BassMakers, they’re coming to play music for the dance. And then Northern Route Creative as a photographer coming to take photos that night as well. So if you’d like to get official photos of the Daddy-Daughter Dance, that is something you can do.”
Wathen adds that the cost to attend is $20 per couple and $5 for any additional girl, with kids that are in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. The deadline to sign up is this coming Monday. She says that the Jefferson VFW and Auxiliary are providing goodie bags for the attendees at the event. Contact the community center at 515-386-3412 or click here to sign up.
