
Hayden Splendore found success at the 2026 IHSAA Boys State Wrestling Championship as the freshmen Bluejay wrestler went 2-2 at the state tournament, winning his first two matches before coming up short in the final two matches.
Hayden started the tournmant off strong, scoring 35 points in two matches picking up victories in both. In his first match to open his tournament run, Splendore won by tech fall winning 19-2. The scoring streak continue in his second match as Hayden picked up the major decision victory 14-6. As Hayden continued rising, so did the competition and Splendore lost by fall in his next two matches just short of the podium.
Hayden Splendore wraps up an incredible freshmen campaign with the Bluejays and looks to return to the state tournament next year after an impressive run.
