Wednesday and Thursday there will be a meeting of a community focused group at the Stuart Public Library.

Librarian Rachel Majerus shares that the adult sewing club will be getting together to work on another project. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio more about the group itself.

“This is a drop-in social group and they work on community service projects and recently donated 12 lap blankets to the Stuart Community Care Center. Everyone is welcome to stop in and join. Even if you’re not a sewer, you can always come and socialize.”

Majerus mentions that this month the group will be meeting from 1-5pm Wednesday and Thursday. She shares that it’s a great opportunity for individuals to not only socialize, but maybe learn a new skill.
