The Panora City Council met in regular session Monday night.

The Council approved the first fiscal year 2025-26 budget amendment, and second amendment to the local planning and administrative assistance contract for the Community Development Building Grant contract number 23-HSGU-005 with Region XII Council of Governments. They then tabled a decision on the water meter access policy until a couple of revisions could be done, moving the item to the first regular meeting in March.

The Council also set a public hearing for the property tax levy for March 23rd at 5:30pm, and approved pay changes for city employees going into effect on July 1st. Other items approved included a 12 month CD investment, updates to the bloodborne pathogens exposure control plan, and the first reading of an ordinance amending a section of traffic code regarding parking during a snow emergency, then also approved waiving the second and third readings to adopt the ordinance.
