Those looking ahead to spring following the recent snowfall, can attend a program hosted by Iowa State Extension and Outreach of Dallas County on Saturday.
Horticulture & Conservation Program Educator Megan Will says the extension will host Spring Bulbs for Super Blooms from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Perry Learning Center, 1122 Willis Avenue, in Perry.
She adds that instructor Sarah Wood will show participants easy ways to bring color, texture and shape into their home gardens using spring bulbs. Will details that those can include Gladiolas, Lilies and Caladiums.
She explains that participants will learn best practices for selection, planting, use and care of the bulbs.
While the class is free, registration is required. For more information, click here.
