West Central Valley junior Colton Lindsay’s defense was on display during the 2025-26 season, as he set a school record for most steals over the course of 24 games.
Lindsay was a defensive machine, tallying 77 total steals this year. He also tied a mark of nine steals in a game on January 15th against Glidden-Ralston, which was the most in a contest for the Wildcats since the 1993-94 season. In addition, Lindsay was the leader in assists for West Central Valley with 105, while he scored 283 points, and grabbed 134 rebounds.
The Wildcats finished the season with a 13-11 overall record, losing to OABCIG 63-31 in the Class 2A Region 7 Second Round game on February 20th.
