The deadline is fast approaching for Dallas County’s “I Voted” Sticker Contest.

Auditor Todd Halbur says the contest gives young residents a chance to showcase their creativity while helping build enthusiasm and civic pride for the democratic process.

Halbur adds that all Dallas County sixth, seventh and eighth grades are invited to participate. He details that submissions can be hand-drawn using traditional media (pencils, crayons, markers, paints, etc.) or using graphic design software. AI-generated artwork will not be permitted.

There is no entry fee and participants can submit up to two original designs either online or in-person. Entries need to be submitted by 4:30 p.m. tomorrow.

The top finalists will be posted on March 10 and the public will be able to vote for their favorite. Halbur explains that the winning design will be worn by voters across Dallas County on Election Day to show how when it comes to civic engagement, every sticker (and every vote) counts.
