Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is excited for the March library program.
Program Director Shelby Van Horn says that just like every month, they have a new theme. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio what they will be focusing on and talking about.
“Our theme this month is Wonders of Nature. And youth will learn about natural resources and the importance of environmental conservation. And then they’ll also be learning about birds and create a bird feeder cookie to take home with them.”
Van Horn mentions that they have four planned programs, with the first two being this week on Tuesday from 4-5pm at the Panora Public Library, and Wednesday from 4-5pm at the Bayard Public Library. She adds that the final two will be on March 16th from 3-4pm at the Stuart Public Library, and on March 18th from 2-3pm at the Casey Public Library.
