The Perry Chamber brought out the big scissors for the first ribbon cutting of the year on Thursday.
The Perry Chamber and Perry Economic Development helped cut the ribbon for Work Hub in the Perry Industrial Park, 3398 Nolan-Carney Drive.
Matthew Riesselman, owner of Work Hub Iowa, says the Perry location is a flex space building that features eight 1,500 foot bays for multi-use commercial spaces for businesses.
He talks about what drew him to open a location in Perry.
“We tend to focus on a lot of small towns. Our goal for our business is to bring businesses to small towns and give small business owners, which are the backbone of America, a space to operate that is clean, effective and helps them grow their business. We just look forward to bringing some businesses to Perry and watching the town grow.”
Tours of Work Hub Perry were offered following the ribbon cutting ceremony. Riesselman adds that four of the bays are available and there is room to expand to a second building in the future.
