The Panorama Girls Track and Field 2025-26 season will open up tomorrow in Ames for the Iowa Association Track Coaches Indoor Championships.

The Panthers girls are led by four seniors of Almiranda Burnett, Ella Carico, Mary Fett, and Ava Thompson, followed by two juniors of Kylie Rochholz and Laicey Lutz, then there are seven sophomores and five freshmen. Greg Thompson has been Panorama’s Head Coach for over 30 years, and lays out the team goals he has for the girls this season.

“We just want to see them get better in each and every meet that we go to. We do a really good job of keeping track of personal records, and we reward them if they get personal records, so that’s our goal is to continue to improve week to week to week, and obviously if we do that, then every kid should be happy with their performance.”

The competition is taking place tomorrow at the Lied Recreation Athletic Center in Ames with close to 50 schools, around 4:30pm.
