All-conference selections were made this past week in the Little Hawkeye conference, and several Mustangs were honored to receive nominations.

Small forward Brody Logan was an honorable mention, along with junior Brody Burke. Logan started in all 22 games for head coach Joel Rankin in his senior season. He flourished in his role and was reliable all year long. Burke was key as the power forward for this team, playing great defense with a complementary offense.

Seniors Luke Lorenzen and Hudson Heidgerken were both selected to the Little Hawkeye Second Team. Heidgerken, the savvy veteran, led this squad with his experience and great decision-making at the point guard position. Lorenzen could have easily been first team with his defense and scoring ability.

Sophomore Chase Perrin was a unanimous selection to the first team. There’s no question there. He set two school records this year and shot over 50% from the field and beyond the arc.
