DCG girls’ basketball graduates two seniors after this 2025-2026 campaign. Leah Brauch and Paige Harvey spent many years as a part of the Dallas Center-Grimes basketball program, and each has left their mark.

Paige played on varsity for two years, including this past season. She was a part of 12 games as a junior and tallied 6 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal. As a senior, she improved on all her numbers, checking in for 16 games as a part of the rotation for the Mustangs. She put up 8/9/7, with three steals and one block. Her role as a leader could not be measured, and she will be greatly missed in red and silver.

Leah was the point guard for DCG for the past two seasons, going 51 straight games without missing a start. She was the engine of a high-powered Mustang offense. Her vision and basketball IQ elevated this squad to another level of play and allowed her teammates to flourish. In her final season with DCG, she averaged 9 pts/2 rbs/2 ast. She was also selected to the third team all-state in Class 4A. Her leadership on the court was unparalleled, and she had the honor of raising the runner-up trophy in the final game of the year.

The seniors on each team are vital, and although Harvey and Brauch had different roles, they were each critical to the Mustangs’ success in their time with the team. Best of luck to both girls in their future endeavors.
