As the Perry Performance and Strength program (PSP) continues to gain steam and traction, PSP coordinator Scott Pierce reflected on the lessons that both athletes and non athletes learn while attending the sessions.

I think it’s accountability. I think it comes naturally in this environment. We’re hoping it pushes them into other things to try new things and so far we’ve proven that with track.”

Scott Pierce, also an assistant coach for the Bluejays track team, works with the throwers but encourages all athletes and non athletes to join the PSP program to remain in shape throughout the season, and during the off season in hopes to promote more athletic activity at Perry High School.
