
There are plenty of opportunities to hunt for Easter eggs across Dallas County, starting next weekend.
The Adel Kiwanis Club Easter Egg Hunt will be held from 3-4:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 29 at Kinnick Feller Park in Adel. Children up to 10 years old will be split up into different groups. Kids from zero to three years of age will start at 3 p.m., followed by four to six years olds at 3:30 p.m. and then ages seven to 10 at 4 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable donations for the Good Samaritan Food Pantry.
The Perry Parks and Recreation Department is inviting children from birth through eight years old to search for eggs at the Senior Softball Fields at the Pattee Park across from Pattee Park on Saturday, April 4. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for photos at 10 a.m., with the hunt to follow at 10:30 a.m.
Dallas Center’s Easter Celebration and Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 4. The event includes a Rotary pancake breakfast, guessing contest at the library, a photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny along with the egg hunt. Proceeds from the pancake breakfast will go to support Rotary scholarships and Dallas Center community projects.
