A non-profit organization is set to have its award ceremony tomorrow.

Greene County Community Foundation is hosting the grant award ceremony tomorrow at 4pm at the First Presbyterian Church in Jefferson. According to the organization, the Greene County Community Foundation is going to give away over $255,000 to over 20 projects and other worthy causes for non-profit groups. GCCF is responsible for applications that are up to $35,000, while Grow Greene County Gaming Corporation handles – the non-gaming license holder for Wild Rose Casino in Jefferson – grants over $35,000.

Since its inception in 2005, the Greene County Community Foundation has given over $2.5 million in grants. Raccoon Valley Radio will have a recap of tomorrow’s event on Monday.
