While West Central Valley junior Addilynn Richter is focusing on soccer, she’s anticipating the upcoming summer basketball scrimmages.

Richter had a nice junior campaign this past season, as she led the Wildcats in points scored with 201 on 28 percent shooting from the field and 25 percent from beyond the three-point line. She highlights that participating in some live games throughout the summer is beneficial prior to the actual school season.

“It really helps us build team chemistry like when we get new girls to come in.”

West Central Valley completed the season at 9-15 overall (5-10 inside the West Central Conference), beating Logan-Magnolia 54-31 in the Class 2A Regional First Round game, before falling to Westwood in the Second Round on February 17th.
