The AC/GC Chargers track and field program has a history of success.

The boys team has several returners who were top performers from last year’s team. In the 100 meter dash are Joe Crawford and Brexton Schneider, with Dean Vela and Luke Brincks having the top two spots in the 200 meter dash. In the 400 meter dash, Vela and Talon Noland return with the top performances, and Jonny Kading and Cole Van Meter took top spots in the 800 meter run. Preston Kent and Kading were the top competitors in the mile run, with Kent and Stetson Ellis the only two taking part in the two mile run. Schnider is the top returner for the 110 meter high hurdles, with Morgun Nolte having been in the top spot for the400 meter hurdles.

Ryan Martens and Nathan Van Effen jumped the furthest in long jump for the Chargers, with Jack Sheeder and Ryan McCormick throwing the furthest in shot put, and Brennan Tunink and Xander Harwood led the team in distance thrown for discus. When it comes to relays, three of the four runners in the fastest 4×100 meter team return, with the same being said for the 4×200 meter team. There are two returners from the fastest 4×400 meter team, three returners from the 4×800 meter relay team. The fastest sprint medley team will see three returning members, while there are also three returners for the distance medley team, and three return for the 4×110 meter shuttle hurdle relay team.
