Panorama Girls Soccer Head Coach Paul Kautzky is going into his second year to lead the Panthers, and discusses strategies he implemented last season.

Kautzky led Panorama to a 12-5-1 overall record during the 2025 season, which featured five shutouts over Greene County, Clarke Community, AHSTW, Central Iowa United, and Creston. Kautzky admits that to begin last season, he tried a new defense, but it didn’t work resulting in an 0-2 start, before winning seven straight games. He wishes the Panthers’ season wouldn’t have ended in the first round of regionals, but understands that it was to a quality opponent.

“We did lose to Underwood, but they made it to state, so I didn’t really feel terrible about it, but I think we could’ve probably been a little bit better prepared for that. And I think I’ve grown a little bit from last year and we’ll hopefully have another great season this year.”

Panorama will start the 2026 season on Friday in Stuart, taking on West Central Valley beginning at 5:30pm.
