
With 148 team points, the Perry Jayettes track team placed first on Monday night at the Saydel Coed Meet. Four Jayettes placed first in individual events, with three Perry relay teams claiming first.
Treasure Moore claimed first in two separate events, the girls 100 and 200. Payton Pierschbacher placed first in the 400 meter hurdles, while Jasmine Gonzalez took the gold in long jump. The 800 sprint medley team, 4×100 shuttle hurdle team, and 4×400 relay team all claimed first to help the Jayettes reach the top of the leader board. In total, Perry had 15 top ten finishes in individual events to score a total of 148 team points and claim first as a team.
Jayettes track returns to action on Thursday, traveling to Ogden High School for the Bulldog girls meet. The action is set to begin at 4:30pm.
