The Perry Bluejays found success on Monday, claiming third place as a team with a score of 106 points. Michael Bahtagic and Rylan Modlin claimed first place in the 100 and 200 respectively, with 12 total top ten finishes in individual events.

In the 100, Bahtagic claimed the gold crossing the finish line in 11.94 seconds, while Modlin claimed gold in the 200 with a first place time of 23.59 seconds. In the relays, two boys team placed first, the 4×100 meter team, and the 4×200 team helping the Bluejays claim third place as a team with a score of 106 points.

The Bluejays return to action on Thursday but this time at home as Perry plays host to five other schools for the Davis Relays. The action from Dewey Field is set to begin at 4:30pm.
