The West Central Valley Soccer Teams will be holding a home tournament today in Stuart, as the boys begin at 9am, followed by the girls at 11am.

Both Wildcat squads are 4-0 on the season, with the boys victorious over Tri-Center, Red Oak, Clarke Community, and East Sac County. The girls have wins against Red Oak, Clarke Community, East Sac County, and Atlantic. The leading goal scorer for West Central Valley Boys is senior Gabe Gerling with six, then for the girls it’s senior Meleah Speichinger, who has recorded eight.

The boys tournament will start first this morning at 9am, as the Wildcats will take on Hillcrest Academy, and will later face off versus Pella Christian at 1pm. On the girls side, West Central Valley will see Pella Christian at 11am, and then will play West Branch at 3pm.

All the games are taking place on the Turf Field at West Central Valley High School in Stuart.
