On Friday, the Perry Jayettes soccer team played host to the Boone Toreadors. Perry had their first draw of the year, ending the match against Boone 0-0.

Both teams battled for possession in the first half, with both teams threatening to score throughout the entire match. The Perry defense remained calm, as keeper Karina Perez had a tremendous showing, with multiple saves in the first half. In the final minutes of the second half, Perez continued to battle, with two crucial saves, keeping the Toreadors from scoring to secure the draw against Boone.

Now at 2-2-1, the Jayettes return to action on Tuesday, traveling to West Marshall to face off against the Central Iowa United Trojans. The action is set to begin at 5:30pm.
