President Erin Milroy says the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for Celebrate Adel on April 27 at Country Lane Lodge.

“It’s our annual event where we bring together our business owners, community leaders and residents to recognize the excellence of our Citizen of the Year and Business of the Year from 2025. We also reflect on our past year’s progress and momentum and then have an opportunity to network with local business owners, residents and the community.”

She details that attendees will also get to experience a Taste of Adel as local restaurants and food vendors will provide samples from their new menus or specialty items. That will be held from 5-6 p.m., followed by the program.

“We are going to be excited to hopefully share some sneak peeks of some of the updates that we have coming from our branding direction and strategic alignment leaning into more of the economic development space. There are a lot of things lining up that will be exciting coming this summer to Adel, so we’re really excited about that as well.”

Milroy details that after board members share information about the chamber, the evening will wrap up with an awards ceremony. The 2025 Citizen and Business of the Year will be recognized and a special award will be given to former Mayor Jim Peters for his years of public service and partnership with the chamber and the business community.

Milroy details that the event is open to chamber members along with local residents. She encourages those interested in attending to register by Friday. Tickets are $35 a piece or $300 for a table and can be purchased online by clicking here.
