Coach Wes Anderson’s Greene County High School girls’ soccer team played at Webster City on Friday night with the Lynx winning by a 9-0 final. The Rams fall to 0-6 and have scored no goals this season.

Coach Wes Anderson told Raccoon Valley Radio, “We’re continuing to see improvements in passing and organization., but need to work on consistent defending all over the field.” He added highlights were Autumn Barrett stepping into a center midfield role and completing 20-plus passes vs. the Lynx. “We have been working on finding someon to be the creator of scoring opportunities,” the coach added. Anderson said despite losing 9-0, the team did have multiple opportunities to score and the defense had plenty of recovery time. He credited Amy Medrano, Nicole Nunez, Barrett, Amelia Gallagher, and Nala Losee, for having attacks, but unfortunately, no shots.
