The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Soccer Team played two games in the Pella Invitational on Saturday on the road, defeating Fort Madison 5-1, then tied with the Dutch 2-2.
In the Tigers first game versus the Bloodhounds, ADM tallied a single goal in the first half for the 1-0 advantage at the break. Fort Madison would strike one in the net, but the Tigers would put up four goals in the second half to grab their most of the season in a single game to roll to a 5-1 victory.
ADM looked to carry that momentum into the second game against Pella, and did start strong, holding a 2-0 lead at the break. However, the Dutch were able to respond with two of their own to tie the game, and no more scoring would occur, as the contest ended in a tie.
The Tigers did play a single game versus Carroll in Adel on Friday, where neither team scored, resulting in a 0-0 tie. With that, ADM is now 2-5-3 on the year, and will make the short trip south to Winterset on Thursday to face the Huskies at 7:30pm.
