
The Perry Bluejays and Jayettes track teams wrap up the week tonight, traveling to Boone to Goeppinger Field for the Don Howard Invite. The action is set to begin at 4:30pm.
The Jayettes look to keep pushing their momentum into a positive direction, after placing fifth as a team at ADM High School on Tuesday. Treasure Moore found plenty of success, placing first in the 200m finishing in 26.33 seconds, while placing second in the 100 finishing in 12.87 seconds. Lily Myers also claimed first, finishing the 800 in 2:25.17 seconds.
The Bluejays look to bounce back tonight after a hard night in Carlisle scoring 29 points to claim 9th place. The boys 4×200 relay team placed 1st in Carlisle crossing the finish line in 1:30.35 seconds, the 4×100 relay team placed 3rd in 44:26 seconds and Xavier Leake claimed 4th in long jump, clearing 19ft nine inches.
