The Perry Chamber brought out the big scissors for the second ribbon cutting of the year on Friday.
The Perry Chamber of Commerce helped cut the ribbon for The Glass Garden, 1620 Pattee Street, to celebrate a new owner for the business, formerly known as Perry Greenhouse and Supply.
Owner Sarah Hulgan says she purchased the business in January and has been working to refresh some spaces while keeping plants and other items that the greenhouse has offered.
She appreciates everyone who came out for Friday’s ribbon cutting ceremony and open house.
“We had a great turnout and it was so fun to see people that I’ve known for a long time from the community, lots of friends and family come and support us and be here to kind of welcome our new start here.”
Hulgan adds that the greenhouse will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday starting this weekend. Additional hours will be added on Sundays starting Mother’s Day weekend.
