The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Community School District is showing love to their staff members this week.

National Teacher Appreciation Week runs through Friday and Superintendent Greg Dufoe says it’s a good time to recognize the district’s staff members.

“The year is long and can be challenging and so this is a really good week for us to celebrate them. Our greatness is really dependent on all of our folks who work here, whether they’re driving a bus or a custodian for us.”

He adds that teachers and staff members will be given treats throughout the week. The district also encourages community members to consider sending a word of thanks or encouragement to a teacher.
