The West Central Valley Boys Golf Team participated in the West Central Activities Conference Meet in Panora on Tuesday, as junior Brock Taylor placed inside the top-10 individually.

The Wildcats were ninth as a team with 390 total strokes. Taylor finished in ninth place with 79 strokes, which was tied with Des Moines Christian’s Max Shisler. Also for West Central Valley, sophomore Dylan Abbott shot 90 strokes, senior Bryce Vigon tallied 102, sophomore Ben Howey had 119 strokes, then it was freshmen Jack Gilbert and Braylon Miller with 133 and 134 strokes respectively.

The Wildcats will now prepare for the Iowa High School Athletic Association Class 2A Sectional in Clarinda next Wednesday, May 13th.
