
The Dallas County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on Tuesday.
The Board heard construction updates and approved pay applications for capital projects, including a local option sales tax bond funding workshop, Secondary Roads Administration Addition, Dallas County Courthouse renovation project, evidence storage and firing range for the sheriff’s office and Adel Emergency Medical Services Station.
Items on the agenda that were approved included an amended health plan renewal with lower deductibles for employees, sheriff’s office vehicle purchase request and a resolution awarding the bid for the Highway 6 turn lanes evidence storage and firing range project to InRoads, LLC.
Other items that were approved included proposed changes to Chapter 45 zoning ordinance regarding board of adjustment powers and duties and a Microsoft Enterprise Agreement, following public hearings.
