A deadline is fast approaching for anyone wanting a t-shirt for an annual event that is coming up in Greene County during the Memorial Day weekend.

Jefferson Matters Director Matt Wetrich says the Bike Ride Around Greene County (BRAG) is taking place on Saturday, May 23rd and the deadline to register for a t-shirt is at midnight tomorrow. He points out that the early bird registration is $30, but that will end on Tuesday and the fee will go up to $35. 

Wetrich details that BRAG is about 37 miles where bikers will tour the eastern side of Greene County, starting from the city of Jefferson and going to Spring Lake Park, the cities of Paton, Dana and Grand Junction; before stopping back in the city of Jefferson. Check-ins are from 8:30-9:30am on that Saturday at the Welcome Center and there are different locations for participants to stop and relax at, before ending at The Public House in Jefferson.

Additionally, there are ways to be a sponsor and financially support the event as well by contacting the Welcome Center at 515-386-2155.
