Paton-Churdan had its girls and boys track & field squads in Ogden on Friday. The boys were fourth among eight teams with victories in four events, and the girls were seventh among eight teams. The P-C girls did not win any events, but were second twice.

Junior Trevon Keely won the high jump at six feet, six inches, as well as taking first in the 100 meter dash in 11.13 seconds. Keely also anchored the winning 4 x 400 meter relay that was clocked in 3:36.07, along with junior Blaise Schilling, sophomore Nathaniel Keyes, and sophomore Damen Rice. Schilling won the long jump with a leap of 21′ 8-1/2″, his best as a Rocket.

Woodward-Granger was the team champion for boys with 144.5 points, followed by Ogden 122, Madrid 93.5, P-C 59, West Central Valley (Stuart) 48, Coon Rapids-Bayard 42, Woodward Academy 24, and 22 from Glidden-Ralston.

Madrid won the title for girls by scoring 157. Ogden had 116, with W-G at 92, Dallas Center-Grimes JV 71, CR-B 45, WCV 32, P-C 25, and 22 for G-R.
