The West Central Valley Girls Soccer Team hosted Tri-Center in Stuart on Friday, losing their third game of the season in shutout fashion 4-0.

The Trojans came into the match ranked eighth in Class 1A, and scored the first goal of the game three and a half minutes in, as freshman Lauren Harder was able to find the left side of the net past Wildcat junior goalie Rhowen Miller for the quick 1-0 lead.

Exactly two minutes later, Tri-Center junior Sophia Hazen converted on a deflected ball, giving the Trojans a 2-0 advantage. Harder would nab her second goal of the contest with 26 minutes remaining in the first half to grab a 3-0 lead, which would be the margin at the break.

Much of the second half would be scoreless, until Hazen would record her second goal with just under eight minutes left to make it 4-0 Tri-Center, which would go on to be the final score. The win puts the Trojans at 8-3-1 on the year, while the Wildcats drop to 8-3-1.

Tri-Center will host Treynor on Monday, as West Central Valley will be in Stuart for a matchup against number-seventh ranked in Class 1A Kuemper Catholic on Monday, starting at 5pm.
