On Friday, the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs girls soccer team played host to the Independence Mustangs for DCG’s first match in the soccer classic at home. DCG picked up the victory, shutting out Independence 6-0.

DCG split the halves evenly, scoring three goals per half. Currently ranked #3, DCG looks to carry this momentum into Saturday, facing off against the #1 Waverly Shel Rock Go-Hawks. DCG currently sits at 8-1-1 with a three game winning streak while the Go-Hawks remain undefeated 9-0.

An exciting match up at home is set to begin at 11am at home as two top ranked teams clash at Dallas Center-Grimes High School. The #3 Mustangs host the #1 Go-Hawks with the action set to begin at 11am.
