On Monday, the Perry Bluejays soccer team traveled to Van Meter to face off against the Bulldogs. The Bluejays had a strong second half, but were not able to come back against the Bulldogs falling 4-0 to Van Meter. Perry falls to 7-6-1 overall and return to action on Friday, playing host to the Clarke Community Indians.

Van Meter took the lead in the first half and never looked back, notching in three goals to take a 3-0 lead going into the halftime break. Coming back for the final 40 minutes, the Bluejays defense rallied, but the Bulldogs notched one more goal passed Perry to secure the 4-0 lead. The Bluejays continued to press on but could not break through, falling in the end 4-0 to Van Meter.

Now at 7-6-1, the Bluejays take some time off and return to action on Friday, playing host to the Clarke Community Indians. The action is set to begin at 7:30pm from Dewey Field.
