Crews were on scene of a material spill at a main intersection in the city of Perry on Tuesday morning.

Law enforcement and other city crews were near the intersection of Iowa Highway 141 and 1st Avenue, where some manure had spilled onto the roadway from a semi-tractor and trailer.

Authorities slowed traffic in the area, with most of the impacted location being the westbound traffic on Highway 141 earlier on Tuesday. The Perry Police Department said the Iowa Department of Transportation helped clean up the scene.
