
The Dallas County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on Tuesday.
Items on the agenda that were approved included a request from the Republican Women’s Club to use the south lawn of the courthouse for a Declaration of Independence reading from 8:30-10:30 a.m. on June 19, township budgets certification and the final plat of Bear Creek Subdivision, a three-lot subdivision located in Union Township between Redfield and Dexter, following a public hearing.
Other items that were approved included a recommendation from the Opioid Settlement Oversight Committee to award around $58,000 to WesleyLife – Home and Community Based Services for its Opioid Abatement & Holistic Pain Management Initiative and the MSA comprehensive plan vendor contract, following a public hearing.
