The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Golf Team competed in the Iowa High School Athletic Association Class 3A Sectional Meet on Wednesday in Williamsburg, as senior Brayden Lucht almost advanced to the district competition.

The Tigers tallied 322 strokes as a team for fourth place, trailing Solon (321), Williamsburg (320), and Marion, who won the competition with 303 strokes. ADM’s Lucht captured seventh place with 77 strokes, as Benton’s Braiden Moore and Vinton-Shellsburg’s Eli Ollinger grabbed the top two individual spots.

The IHSAA qualified the top three teams in the section, which were Solon, Williamsburg, and Marion, followed by the next two individuals from the non-qualifying teams.

The rest of the Tigers saw senior Treyton Lee in 10th with 79 strokes, followed by juniors Roen Lenz and Shadd Livingston recording 83 strokes, senior Ty Lovejoy finished with 85, and freshman Hudson Pitlick rounded out the scoring with 93 strokes.
