The Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs keep their track season alive, qualifying for state in nine events. The state track meet at Drake Stadium begins on Thursday, and continues until Saturday.

Darien Walker qualified for state in the 110m hurdles alongside Charlie Bohnenkamp who qualified in the 400m hurdles. In individual events, Christopher Opoku-Sekyere qualified in long jump while Wyatt Valenta qualified in shot.

For the relays, the 4x110m shuttle hurdle team qualified, alongside the 4x100m team, the 4x200m team, the 4x800m and the distance medley team.
