
The Perry City Council will meet in regular session on Monday.
Items on the agenda that are seeking approval include awarding the 1,500 foot parallel taxiway extension contract at the Perry Municipal Airport, following a public hearing, along with a resolution to submit an application to the FAA for eligible funds from the Airport Improvement Program.
Other items on the agenda seeking approval include resolutions for professional services agreements with Bolton & Menk for the Willis Avenue and Highway 141 intersection improvements along with planning and zoning services, an appointment to the Park and Recreation Advisory Board and an addition to the fire department roster.
The council will also hold the first readings to amend ordinances for street use and maintenance along with public health and safety – discharging weapons.
The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 6 p.m. Monday inside the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building, 1102 Willis Avenue, in Perry. The meeting may be attended electronically through Zoom upon request made to City Hall by 2 p.m. on the day of the meeting.
